O události
Dear students,
we would like to invite you to a cafe seminar with Sean Davidson, J.D. called ,,Pressures of multi-culturalism: parental rights and civil liberties in modern Europe.
The seminar will try to answer many questions such as:
What are the pressures in modern multi-cultural societies?
How can people with different value systems co-exist, and how can such a society flourish?
What is the role of law here?
Sean Davidson will present a brief speech on this topic, with specific focus on parental rights and civil liberties. The speech will consider particular psycho-social theories, including terror management theory and echo chamber effect, and how they relate to the above questions. Implications of the internet age will be highlighted as well.
The speech will be roughly 30 minutes, questions and comments to follow for roughly 45 minutes, then drinks and socialising.
If you want to find more about this topis, come next Thursday 14.11. at 8 p.m. to Klub Betlémská, where you can enjoy the speech, discussion and the party afterwards.
We're looking forward to seeing you,
Yours Common Law Society
