Common Law Society in cooperation with Faculty of Law is proud to invite you for a lecture given by prof. Alan Dershowitz from Harvard University.
The guest will be introduced by the US Ambassador in the Czech Republic H.E. Norman L. Eisen.
Professor Dershowitz is a significant American jurist who during his years of practicing law represented clients in several prominent disputes involving i.a. human rights issues and criminal liability. However his interestes are much broader and include Middle East relations, ICC issues, constitutional law and also philosophy, psychology, history, literature (prof. Dershowitz is an author of a number of publications about politics, law and also fiction books), theology, mathemathics, etc…
The discussion will be led by doc. JUDr. Zdeněk Kühn, Ph.D., LL.M., S.J.D. and the topics will cover in particular Judiciary in the U.S., the so called Arabian spring, legal practice from american point of view and other.
